True Colors
OK, I feel I've been nothing but classy since D and mine's separation. I haven't talked bad about her, I haven't done a damn thing except be civil and do whatever she wanted. So, to get stupid, high-school snark on my FB page today from her Mom was really just the crowning turd in the water pipe.

Seriously, I had a lot of respect for Rose but that's gone, not that she'd care. Just really seems stupid and petty. I guess your true colors will always out, in the end.

Oh, I see the comment. Are you sure it's not spam, or did you unlock the answer?

I hate those apps things. I usually just ignore them

Pretty sure it's not spam, and I don't actually care enough to put the work into unlocking the answer.
Skiggaretbigdaddygoat on June 10th, 2011 01:30 pm (UTC)
So you are assuming she answered "Yes" to the question? If it isn't spam she is probably answering questions to unlock an answer of her own. I would hope she would be aware that the questions are posted on her friends' walls and she would not dis you like that. If she did answer with malice, I don't know, we don't know what D has told them, but based on everything you did for them over the years.

Yeah, I admit, I'm assuming "yes". Since her other daughters are using the app, I'd believe that she DOES know it posts to the Wall. As for malice or not, I would have hoped not, but I know that she can be very "momma cat" about her family. No telling what D actually told her, or whatever.

I got the impression that this kind of app pulls the names from your friends list...and I'm not her friend on FB. Does this mean it was put in manually? I dunno, though that would cement it being malicious, if it were so.
Skiggaretbigdaddygoat on June 10th, 2011 02:33 pm (UTC)
That's weird, because when I went to her FB friends page it says you are a her friend. I also noticed she answer another question about you, so I believe there is no malice.

Weird, i don't recall ever being friended to her. Well, took care of that real quick. And yeah, maybe no malice, I really don't know for sure.

This. But I tend to want to believe the best about people until it's really clear I shouldn't.

Rose reminds me of the New York City Public Schools after 9/11 happened.

Well, in today's society, you know shit is GETTIN' SRS when it's on facebook.

You know, thinking about your metaphor, it's really too bad that the internet doesn't get clogged down by turds in some cases. Like, if facebook (or, to be less I-HATE-FACEBOOK-ish, certain people or pages on facebook) got clogged down by their own turds, it would be self-regulating. Problem solved. Just sayin'.

Yes, that'd be handy.
