Tech Help?

So, dig this. This problem started up quite a while ago, and I haven't found any way to fix it yet. On my EeePC, when the "start" menu button is pressed on-screen, the windows menu pops up. This is normal, but as soon as you mouse onto it, it drops and the search pane comes up. Search pops up just randomly, too (when machine starts up, when sitting idle, etc.) and will end up opening many empty search panes. I've looked in 'startup' folders, I've searched the 'Net, I can't find anything that makes any sense as to why this happens. I've even done a system restore to a year ago with no luck, it still happens.

Starting to wonder if it has anything to do with the mousepad buttons, but I can't find anything that sets those to anything else except the config for it, which doesn't show it being anything different.

Needless to say, it makes things difficult. Hard to do anything when you constantly have search panes popping up for no reason. Anyone run across this before, or know of a reason it might happen?

Fixed! Looks like the F3 key is sticking. Dunno why, but I'll deal. It's always the simple things, ain't it?
