State Of The Mage

New Year's was quiet. Between us not having people around here, us not drinking, and Jessica still sick/hurting, no surprise. We stayed in and abused Netflix's Instant Watch. Been catching up on a lot of classic TV and British comedy, lately: Hyperdrive, Black Books, Twilight Zone, Drawn Together, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, etc.

Spent a chunk of yesterday pressure washing the house. Damn, did it need it. Took the opportunity to hit the BBQ, too...hooray for stainless steel! it's clean now, you bet. Back and shoulders are sore, but that's something I live with all the time, anyway. Actually, they are doing better than normal: they still hurt but I have better range of motion, due to the dumbbell work I've started doing. I ate back all the weight I had lost this past week or so, just from this weekend but that's my own fault.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying being back in City of Heroes, though not as much as before, what with not having my buddies in-game all the time. Still fun, though. Also picked up Amnesia: The Dark Descent as well as all three parts of Penumbra, all for $8. Good to feed my 'survival horror' jones, it's been too long. Pretty well-done, so far, gotta say.
