Brutus The Love Rhino
Slow and quiet, quiet and slow. If not for the internet, I'd be a mess during the days.

Discovered a couple days ago that Coca-Cola is now bottling and selling Vanilla Coke. Well, I had to try it (I *LOVE* vanilla Cokes), and I have to say that, for being bottled, it's pretty decent. Nothing I'd drink all the time, mind you, but good nonetheless.

Spent all of last night awake...stomach being funky. On a good note, I'm well into re-reading Lumley's 'Psychomech' series. Speaking of books, 'Black House' is STILL not out in paperback, dammit. I did find somewhere to replace my lost Lovecraft anthology last night, though.

Oh, me and AudioGalaxy are becoming better and better friends. Like you care.

Re: Black House...
Not sure what your general stance is on hardback vs. paperback, but if it relates at all to the relative importance or enjoyment of the book, I can tell you that this is a book that (imho) is worth owning in hardback. Particularly if you enjoyed Talisman and the Dark Tower books. Weaves it all together quite nicely...

Well, having LOVED 'The Talisman' and having been waiting anxiously (and none too patiently) for more of the 'Dark Tower' series (*GET TO WORK, STEVE!!!*), I am about to break down and buy the hardback anyway. The paperback is just hella cheaper...*G*

That it is, that it is. Well, if nothing else you might be able to find a cheaper hardback at a resale store. Do you have Half-Price Books up where you live? I think I've seen Black House there at about a third of the price. Might be worth checking into. *shrug*

Good to hear an opinion about the vanilla coke. I get a vanilla or raspberry coke at the coffee shop by my work, and love it. Will have to try the bottled one, for a change, as the price difference is quite significant. *G*

See, I love vanilla cokes, but they taste best fresh mixed at the fountain. The bottled one luckily does not have a bad aftertaste, and it grows on you after a few sips, but it just isn't quite the same. Hard to explain the difference. I will have to get it again and try it over ice, see if that makes a diff.

Your just now seeing the bottled Vanilla Coke? It has been here for quite some time now. I got it one day while I was waiting in like at the grocery store. I like it a lot but like you it's not an everyday thing. As for caring how you and Audiogalaxy are doing I do care. I am liking it a lot myself. I doubt seriously that I ever go back to Morpheous.

Well, now that Morph is mainly a client for Gnutella, I doubt I will either.
