Psychology And Horror
Decided to rent a bunch of flicks last night. Didja know Dario Argento is still alive and making movies? Watched part of his newest, "Sleepless" last night, finishing it today, along with "Dagon" and "The Attic Expeditions"...which, by the way, if you haven't seen, DON'T, yet. Something about it is bothering me...it was absolutely FABULOUS all the way until the end...and something makes no fucking sense...gonna have to watch that a couple more times.
Speaking of horrific stuff, see what you think about this. This is supposedly a genuine psychological test, but I cannot vouch for it:
It is a story about a girl. While at the funeral of her own mother, she met this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be, that she fell in love with him there and then. A few days later the girl killed her own sister.
Question: What is her motive in killing her sister?
She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again. If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. Supposedly, this was a test by a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. It claims that many arrested serial killers took part in this test and answered it correctly. If you didn't answer correctly - good for you. If your friends hit the jackpot, may I suggest that you keep your distance.
For the record...I got it right. Draw your own conclusions.
