Eris - The Movie?

Well, seems Miramax may be a bit more hip than I imagined, as they are in production of a movie of my Goddess. Dig that. Heather Graham is in the title role (NOT who I would have chosen), and Edward Norton set to play Greyface. Here is the mention on the '23 Apples Of Eris' site (a good site if you have never been there). I wonder though, since the 'Miramax' homepage that you can check out is actually on the 23AE site, not on Miramax...so maybe this is all a hoax. It would be very much like us.

Apparently, Terry Gilliam was originally gonna direct (which would have rocked!), but he bailed, and now Darren Aronofsky (of "Pi" fame) is set to do it. Hope for the best, because he has a shaky track record in my eyes...I loved 'Pi', but hated 'Requiem For A Dream'. Still, the teaser images are interesting, the tiny teaser trailer DID catch my eye, and the storyline (for all that the writeups claim it is based loosely around the Principia Discordia almost sounds like a VERY simplified, watered down, and bastardized version of Illuminatus!, or maybe a mix of the two. "Two friends" discover Goddess, and help her in the struggle? Those two better be George Dorn and Joe Malik...and Hagbard Celine damn well BETTER show up in the movie.
