Italian Horror

OK, for any of you that are fans of Italian horror flicks (as in Lucio Fulci, Mario Bava, Dario Argento...the triad of gore!), there's something you should check out....especially you, drem4ainsomniac. Fulci's masterpiece, The Beyond, is available in a special DVD edition...and for a change, the 'special edition' of a DVD really is worth it. The film has been cleaned up and is presentable in it's original Italian soundtrack, original and remastered English soundtracks, and commentary that was actually interesting to hear. Reproductions of 6 different movie poster (postcard size) from 6 different countries are inside, as well. Also on the disc are promo and lobby cards and ad copy from around the world, as well as the standard production stills, etc. The opening sequence has been recovered in the German 'color' version, which was interesting, and the disc also has the last on-camera interview Fulci ever did. All in a nice tin box...

Supposedly, they only made 20,000 of these, so go get one. Mine is on the shelf.
