Used To Technology

Having just bought a new vid card and monitor, I've been enjoying running at a a larger resolution (1280x1024x32). And, with that in mind, I just about giggled myself to death at hearing this comment from someone else, randomly:

"i wish i could stop feeling that the resolution of 1600x1200 is looking too big and unsightly. because i can't go any higher . . . grr. I WANT TO! it's huuuge. i TRULY don't know how people can stand 1024x768."

That's the world for ya. 1600x1200, and wants more. We used to be impressed at getting 1024x768, and then the technology went further, and further, and now kids who cannot even drink yet are complaining they want more than 1600x1200.

*shakes head* Oh well. Guess I'm just old.
