OK, Di came home for lunch a little early, and we took the time to talk about all this, what we thought, how we wanted to handle it, etc. She also agrees that it needs to be she, I, and Chuck that sits down to talk...and if he doesn't wanna do it, then I'm calling him MYSELF. This bad blood between us has to stop, to quote "The Godfather". It's stupid, the situation is stupid, and it doesn't have to be, but certain parties refuse to grow up and be adults about it. It's as if he doesn't want to meet me because he's afraid either he'll discover I'm not 'the Devil', or he'll blow up and make himself look like a jackass (which he already has, but that's beside the point).

Well, I'll be a man about it even if he won't. We are not in competition over anything, and the situation is not gonna change. This has gone on long enough, it's gotta come to a halt. Dammit, we don't have to be friends...I somehow doubt we ever could, with his attitude. But we don't need to be enemies, either. I'm sick of this shit, and it's gotta stop.

Christ, I haven't been this mad in a long, long time. Nor this driven.
