Weird Gifts

I was bad...my Mom sent the Xmas presents to us, and I went ahead and opened mine. Well, Mom had said she found something in an antique shop, so I was too curious. Man, sometimes, she gets things really right.

This thing...well, I had to kinda stare at it for a while. It appears to be the foot from a small table or something. The damn thing must weigh five pounds. It's a old claw-and-ball type, but the ball is glass, and rest is brass, with this neat gargoyle face on it. I have no idea what I would do with it, but it's just way too cool.
