Holy Cats

Ugh...just got shocked awake, after some long,involved dream that I can no longer remember...all I know is that I've never died so many times in one dream. By itself, that's disturbing, and then I wake up to the sounds of someone in my house, little sounds like someone getting ready in the morning. I'd think it was Di, getting ready for work, except that I woke up to the alarm, woke her up, and saw her off, I remember this clearly, so she's gone. That REALLY shocked me awake, and resulted in my prowling the apartment, dagger in hand, only to find that no one is here. There's a window open in my room, but the sounds weren't coming from there.

So, now, here I am, adrenalized, awake, and it's only 8 in the fucking morning. This was neither the time nor the method I would choose to start my day...yeesh.
