Adventures And Anime

What a day. jahnji set out from his place to come hang out last night, heading up here by bus and train. Unfortunately, the route we had figured for him stopped running by the time he got to his stop, but once we discovered this, Di and I went and picked him up (see his journal for a detailed account of his adventure, I hiope...wild stuff).

Back in time for a late dinner though, and much foolishness ensuedd. Eventually, Di went to bed, and we stayed up to watch Trigun (which I had been unable to see al of when we all gathered at karzon's place). Eventually, we decided to crash, since it was 5am. I was wired though, and couldn't get to sleep, and when I finally did, I was back up at 8:30 or so. I tried waiting for J to wake up, but couldn't stand it, I had to know how the series ended, and I only had seven more episodes to go. Eventually, though, he did awaken, and we paused just once to walk up to the store for doughnuts...hey, it was just necessary. Damn, that series was good...thoroughly enjoyed!

A long afternoon of anime and CD-burning followed (the cd-burning being what brought this all on in the first place). If my ripping/encoding goes well, I should have my own DivX's of the Trigun series, and J meanwhile now has something like 650 MB of mp3s of various types (mostly rock) as well as "Enter The Matrix".

Now, I just need to get to cleaning out my e-mail (this has been the longest I've been offline continuously in a LONG time!) and catching up on what all you guys have been up to.

Oh, we decided we needed new icons, so I whipped up these two...

One for John......and one for me...
