One More Thing  
Almost forgot, I had Di but the braids back in my hair. Man, I haven't had these in permanently since...well...for a long-ass time. Something like 10 years or so.

do you have any feelings about dreads? your hair is just the right length, and they allow you to put all sorts of nifty decorative bits in. just a though upon seeing the beads. and when you hate it, you can lop em all off.

I'd never do dreads...for a couple of reasons. One, I do play with my hair a lot, and dreads just don't play as easily. I'm obsessed with brushing out my hair, and hate having it tangled, so dreads would be anathema to me. On top of that, I'd hate having to chop off my hair...if I can help it, I'll never be short-haired again. Ever.

Time for a trip to the bead store, damn you and your ideas. The only trick is that I can't do anything cool with my hair b/c of work so I have to wait for a long weekend to make it worth the effort.
