Christ, People, Get Over It

I love reading over yesterday's posts and news items, and seeing how everyoine freaked out over the power problems in the NorthEast yesterday. It's electricity, kids, and you can do without it. We've all become so dependant on our gadgets and our TV, etc., that the power goes out and the populace goes ape. People go nuts and start laying blame and pointing fingers and complaining and whatnot...I hear some New Yorkers were blaming Canada, while lots of other people are worried it was a terrorist attack. Hello?!? One, why would Canada want to knock out our power (thery got hit too), and if an accident, why are you pointing fingers anyway? Two, if it were a terrorist act, doncha think something would have happened to actually terrorize you? See, that came form the fact that we all watch too damn much TV.

ouchouch said it best, in her post, when she mentioned that she walked all the way home, and didn't realize just how long the bridge she normally drives across was, until she had to walk it...but more importantly, for the first time in forever, she looked up and actually saw the stars. Good.
