Long Night

For some reason, last night, Erik decided he wanted to go to bed half an hour before his bedtime. We were pretty weirded out by this, but obviously fine with it, so off he went. Later on, Di and I both got tired earlier than usual, so it was early to bed for everyone. Around 2:15 in the morning, though, I was awakened rather abruptly by the sound of Di in the bathroom, violently sick. She finally got over it, though, and came back to bed, getting up one more time during the night.

Get up this morning, and she's feeling a little better, but when I go in to wake up Erik, he tells me that HIS stomach is bugging him. Man, all I can think is that the pepperoni pizza that he and Di had (which I didn't) must have not sat well with them. Lastly, back in my room, I look in on the rats, and Chatter is looking worse than usual. When we got them, she was the scrawny one, and seemed to not be all that healthy, including the beginnings of a bald patch right behind her head. It has spread, and she's just skin and bones, breathing hard, looking pretty bad. I hate to say it, but I don't expect her to make it. Hopefully the other two will be fine. We've separated Chatter from the others, just in case.

Man, I love the fact that it has rained for 3 days straight...bring it on!
