For some reason the new Real World was playing on my TV in the backround (not really sure how I landed on MTV, but oh well) and I've come to the conclusion that it's faker than Michael Jackson's face.

When (and you know its a question of when, not if) the reality show craze goes away, i'd love to see a retro advertising-by-celebrities type thing. If you've ever watched old Ed Sullivan, then you know what I mean. Ed would get up there right before the main commercials would roll, and he'd say something along the lines of "Use Joy dishwashing liquid. It will make your dishes sparkle, and won't keep your misses in the kitchen all night long".

Except, in this modern day, camera work a little differently. You'd have multiple angles spliced together so that you don't actually have to have one perfect take.

HAHA! In my world, we'd eliminate those cuts, and the celeb would have to do it in one continuous take. Can't you just see Oprah, in all her media-slut glory, get up there and promote something like Grand theft Auto 3.... and in one take. It would be nerve racking, and demeaning as hell by today's standards.

Also... that's a kick ass new icon.

THAT would be sweet. I'd love to see some of these smarmy "celebrities" forced to do some sad shilling for whoever is promoting their show, NOT who is PAYING them to shill a product.

Well, the tats are almost a year and a half old, so I think they are counted as 'established' now...but, I'll take the compliment anyway. ;)

But still... that's a lot more than i've done for a woman. The most i've ever done was when I beat up a whale to save her baby brother who was trapped inside. Damn them whals with their tongues that look like barney.

omg you have no idea you should be so lucky as to not have tv in your house.... living here I have been forced to watch stupid tv because I cant really go anyplace and someone has been on the pc lately THANK GOD FOR BOOKS!!!! but when I been loungin around I have been forced to watch whatever Stupid relaity tv show has been on and News ( I hate news....hehe dont hit me doug) wtf are these people thinking and why do they insit on watching this crap!! oh well I do have to say though I love my SciFi shows....heh GO LEXX!!!!
