PETA Planning To Go Ahead With Campaign In The Face Of Anti-Holocaust Laws
Yep...these freaks really do think that their crusade to make you stop eating meat, etc., is above the law. In this case, they are planning to liken the slaughter of animals to the treatment of Jews by the Germans, in an ad campaign referring to 'Holocaust On Your Plate". The posters, due to be displayed in Stuttgart starting Thursday and in 11 European cities at later dates, show pictures of battery hens packed into cages next to historic pictures of emaciated Jewish inmates in Nazi concentration camp bunk beds.
German law is very against belittling or denying the Holocaust. The Stuttgart prosecutor has remarked that PETA should think twice about this. The Jewish Council says they'll press charges. So, why are they going ahead with it? PETA officials say the posters are designed to "raise public awareness" of what they call the "maltreatment of animals before they are slaughtered".
Christ on a bun...do these yahoos have nothing better to do? Actually, I'm all for them going ahead with this...hopefully, a bunch of them will get locked up in a German prison, and find out what "maltreatment" really means. I just love these people who seem to think that this is some issue that is really world-shattering. You know what? You don't want to eat meat? Fine, don't. You don't like that I do? Fine, you are entitled to your opinion. But if this is the most productive thing you can contribute to human society, then fuck off. Guess what? We're animals, too...and plenty of animals eat other animals.
You're on top of the food chain, human. Deal with it.
