Catch-Up
Dinner with the in-laws went great. Di ended up making a Mexican casserole and Spanish rice, we added salad and cheesy breadsticks, and we all tore into it. Good stuff. listened to a lot of jazz, just kicked back. Highlight of the afternoon, for me, was as they were leaving, her dad said 'Good food, good house, good company...you must be part of MY family" and smiled. He was just playing around, but it felt REALLY good.
Today, should kick ass as well.
jahnji will be here in an hour or so, for a day long viewing of Shogun, and I expect karzon will pop in for a while. If we're lucky, delilahbowie will also put in an appearance, though she's flying home from Rhode Island today, and may be a bit tired, we'll see.
