Awake And Whatever
Nothing quite like dragging out of bed at the asscrack of dawn, only to discover at the last minute that there's no need for it. Ah well.

Much happy to finally be getting my CD of "LaTour: Home On The Range". Just another obscure old band that I liked and no one else has really heard of...but I got to see them live, back in the day, and not only was it a kick-ass show, it was a great evening all around...memories of a night that I shall keep to myself.

We found the best little Chinese place last night. Actually, it was Chinese/Thai/Sushi, if you can dig it. $8.50 all-you-can-eat buffet, and the food was INCREDIBLE, including salmon sushi and salt-and-pepper squid, which I was impressed by. Needless to say, I ate like a freak. And, to top it all off, this place is about 3 blocks from the house...so I think we'll be hitting the place a lot.

"Hitman; Contracts" comes out today...wonder if we have enough money for me to get it...

Does this mean that "People Are Still Having Sex?"

"In a downtown condo, or street in the projects,
Althought you can't see them, or hear their breathing sounds,
Someone in this world is having sex right now."

Yeppers, that's the band...they did do a second album, which I used to have on tape, but have wanted a CD of for years, but it's been a tad hard to find. until now.

Cool. My guilty pleasure is Bruce Willis' stuff. He did 2 albums of fairly decent blues material. Both are hard to find, but Return of Bruno (the first one) is easier - the second one (If it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger) is import only and pretty expensive.

I agree...I had that album, and thought it was excellent (the first one). I need to replace them as CDs...i know I can get them through Amazon.

Um...good question. No clue. i seem to recall that Dianna got a menu from the place, but I can't seem to find it.

You know the Fred Meyer at Grand and 4th Plain? Other side of Grand there's a convenience store, and then a strip mall...it's in there. Can't miss it.

Ok, I know where you are talking about. No rats or dying dogs heard from the back kitchens?
