Adobe Systems acknowledged Friday it quietly added technology to Photoshop CS at the request of government regulators and international bankers to prevent consumers from making copies of the world's major currencies. -- Somehow, I'm suddenly glad that I downgraded from CS back to 7.0. Not that I'd be counterfeiting money, but just to keep some unknown software out of my system. I have to agree with Gene Spafford of Purdue University, a security expert: "If I were the paranoid-conspiracy type, I would speculate that since it's not Adobe's software, what else is it doing?"
In 'Christ, You're A Moron' news:
Kentucky Couple Took Pictures Of Their 2-Year-Old Son Smoking Pot -- Truth is that they held a pipe up to his lips, someone lit it,and they took the pic...and that was really stupid. But then the morons eventually took the pix to be developed, and the person at the photo place saw the images, called the cops, and they got nabbed. Funny addition to the story; while they were stuck in lockup, someone robbed their house.
